Summary
It’s all about you! The Front Desk Attendant is a critical position in our clubs. You are the face of Texas Family Fitness! The Front Desk Attendant is ultimately responsible for the guest experience. You will be an Ambassador of Texas Family Fitness with a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of club operations. The Front Desk Attendant will own customer communications and issues from initial contact until resolution.
Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding expectations. Greet every member and guest promptly and engage with every member to ensure our members feel welcomed as a part of the TF Fitness family. The Front Desk Attendant will knowledgeably answer inquiries by phone and in person regarding memberships and services. Promptly resolve guest complaints in a professional, courteous manner. Oversee the security of retail and concessions. Maintain a clean, family-friendly and professional appearance. Ensure the lobby is clean, neat and organized. Ensure the front desk is never left unattended.
Membership Management
The Front Desk Attendant will check every member and guest in immediately upon arrival and bid farewell to all guests leaving. Ensure children are accompanied by an adult member and escorted to the Kids Club for their security. Confirm appointments and assist with referrals. Promptly process membership cancellations. Up-sell family memberships and retain existing memberships.
Account Management
Maintain confidentiality of all member and guest records. Update contact information as needed. Collect member balances and post promptly and accurately. Verify account information on file, including credit card information on file to ensure it is current and up to date.
Requirements
HS Education in progress or completed
Prior customer service experience highly desired; willing to train
Personable, enthusiastic, optimistic and outgoing personality
Positive attitude and collaborative team player
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Computer proficiency with basic computer applications
Stable work or school history
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Passion for health and fitness
