SAIC currently has an opening for a Full Stack Software Developer in Huntsville, AL, to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate at Redstone Arsenal.

Job Description:

The candidate for this position will provide junior Web Development support for the suite of software tools that support organizations under the Combat Capabilities Development Command, Aviation and Missile Center. This is a full stack web development position. The Need is for a Junior Web Developer to develop and maintain web applications and the supporting database infrastructure.

Web Developer Responsibilities

• Web development for various tools to include new features, enhancements and bug fixes following Agile software development principles
• Web service integration development and support with trading partners
• Integration with SQL databases
• Investigate help desk issues to determine cause and appropriate solution
• Perform unit testing
• Participate in code reviews
• Designing user interactions on web pages
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience; Four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to employment; must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance to maintain employment.

• Experience with C#
• Experience with .Net Framework
• Experience with Visual Studios 2019
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MS SQL, Entity Framework, ADO

• Azure DevOps
• Experience with Microsoft Code
• Familiarity with 3rd party UI controls such as DevExpress, JQuery, and JqWidgets
• MVM/MVVM design paradigm experience
• Experience with Web Services
• Experience integrating web application with external authentication services
