Welcome to the Grand Rapids Escape Room! Here at the escape room we like to create an enjoyable experience for our customers and a comfortable work space for our Game Masters!
You may be asking what is a Game Master? Wonder no more! A Game Master does many things around the escape room including but not limited to:
Working with incoming and outgoing guests!
Guiding guests from behind a computer screen!
Resetting rooms after bookings finish!
Cleaning!
Counting the till and ensuring the drawer is correct!
While this may seem like a lot there is definitely down time to be had during which you may relax! With those things in mind you may be asking "What are they looking for in candidates?" It's fairly simple really:
An outgoing attitude with some knowledge or interest in customer service.
An ability to lift 50lbs (you will almost never have to lift that much).
Be able to watch a computer monitor for an extended period of time.
Basic knowledge of math, reading and writing.
Reliable transportation.
Be a bit creative and have problem solving capabilities.
