Job Description

SUMMARY

Supervise all E-Games Technicians by assigning responsibilities and duties while assisting when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Demonstrates computer literacy.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Exhibits sound decision-making with an emphasis on motivating the team and maintaining high morale.
  • Trains E-Games Technicians, providing each with the knowledge, development, and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities.
  • Oversees the repair, modification, and preventative maintenance of gaming machines.
  • Supervises machine moves and modifications.
  • Oversees special projects as needed.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Actively participates in, the initiation of personnel actions including but not limited to terminations, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
  • Develops shift schedules and schedules employees ensuring that all shifts are properly staffed at all times.
  • Keeps an accurate count of machines on the floor as well as maintaining an accurate EGM.
  • Inventory and up-to-date floor layout.
  • Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Maintains a positive image of CNE.
  • Focuses on guest service.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain accurate parts inventory.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Supervise/Manage a department and provide input toward hiring/firing/performance decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 years of slot technician experience or electronics equivalent. Must have IGT Associate Technician Certification (or equivalent) and IGT Advanced Slot Technician Certification or ability to obtain such certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work varied shifts and overtime when needed.
  • Maintain a neat appearance.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to learn tasks applicable to the position.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
