Seeing: Must be able to read work-orders, street signs, and see in dark places

Working Conditions: An assistant technician is mostly outdoors and deals with all types of weather, including rain, snow, hot temperatures, cold temperatures, and wind chill. Assistant technicians also have to deal with stinging insects, such as bees and wasps, and certain plants, such as thorns, poison ivy, and poison oak.
