We are seeking a geotechnical/ geological engineering intern to join our consulting group based in Tucson, AZ. This job requires the applicant to be locally based in Tucson, AZ.

• Field work will include:
  • site characterization
  • geologic/geotechnical mapping,
  • geomechanical core logging
• Office work will include:
  • Data reduction including stereographic, statistical, and geospatial analyses
  • Technical reporting and documentation of field work and analysis work
  • Laboratory testing, preforming and assisting with soil and rock strength testing

• Actively pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, geological engineering, geotechnical engineering or mining engineering.
• 0-5 years’ experience
• The position may involve local domestic travel
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S

Schedule: part time not to exceed 31 hours per week, normal business hours.
