The Loans Operations teams supports all lending activity for Corporate and Commercial clients of the bank across North America, Latin America, EMEA and Asia. The lead will be responsible for understanding and accommodating local market and regulatory requirements as it pertains to the transformation efforts

This role will require thorough understanding of strategic direction of the business and how it relates to the Operations team ability to partner and support business strategy and growth. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. External communication/negotiation skills necessary

The Global Loans Operations group is looking to hire a lead to run end-to-end Business Analysis and program delivery for multiple product program deliveries. This position will ensure delivery of core business capabilities and strategical programs towards our 2023 vision and beyond.

For projects that are medium to large in scope/complexity, to ensure that specific requirements for changes to applications are met through project management of the end-to-end process. This ensures the management of program execution following the standard SDLC process across Agile methodologies of Project Initiation, Definition, Design, Construction, Verification, Implementation and Post Implementation review.

Manage smooth program delivery and required testing, training, and onboarding for new products and functionality adhering to Client and regulatory requirements, ensuring keeping relevant teams e.g.

Operations, Technology, Product etc. informed of progress along the way.

Applicant must have a strong Operational Management. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for Operations, responsible for the coordination and successful end-to-end delivery of the various strategic and Transformational programs under Global Loans Operations
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Provide technical and operational leadership into the annual book of work aligned with the Target Operating model
  • Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
  • Align leadership, stakeholders (internal and external) and program team members to the strategic objectives of the program
  • Manage Target Operating model program globally with a goal of measuring our operational and service capabilities against clearly defined global standards on process, location and technology solutions for loans
  • Ensures appropriate testing and validation takes place for all systems/processes delivered as part of each release
  • Track and monitor project activities against agreed business dates
  • Ensure documented reviews of project documentation takes place
  • Provide strong analytical, technical, business and/or management expertise to the group

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong Operational management background and skills
  • Experienced at program planning and coordinating inputs from multiple product and operational areas
  • A strong sense of ownership and delivering the end result

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
