This student office assistant will serve as the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies (HCBPS) front desk receptionist and student assistant to the full-time personnel within the Dean’s suite. This will include the responsibilities of serving as the Dean’s Office first point of contact to greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and other visitors. Office receptionist duties will include daily operational tasks such as addressing questions in person, over the phone, and via other electronic means; scheduling appointments; reserving study rooms and classrooms; opening or closing building rooms & offices; being the liaison for the Administrative Assistant; and clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, shredding and preparing mailings. Project related duties will consist of assisting the college social media communications and coordination and hosting of college events.

Position is open to undergraduate (Freshman – Junior standing) students ONLY with a minimum GPA of 2.75 majoring in the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies areas of: Social Work, Communication Disorders, Human Development & Family Science, Criminal Justice, Military Science & Leadership, Aviation, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Big Data and Business Analytics, International Business, Risk Management & Insurance, Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or Events Marketing & Management. Graduate students are NOT eligible for this position.
