This role will work collaboratively with the Director of HR, HR Generalists, and HR Recruiter to learn all aspects of HR.

Location: Hillside, IL (main office), other local offices as needed.

This summer, you will:

  • Receive coaching and mentorship from Darwill Human Resources Team
  • Assist with the administration and delivery of employee digital files
  • Become knowledgeable on HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in handling administrative tasks
  • Maintain records and personnel files
  • Support other HR strategic initiatives as opportunities arise

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a similar field of study
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Solid writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and think critically
  • Excellent organization skills, detail oriented
  • Strong ethics and confidentiality skills
  • Thrives in a face-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This job requires you to sit in a cubicle or office, on a computer (1 or more monitors) and on the phone for the majority of the day.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:
