About the Job:
  • HVAC Technician - to do Maintenance/Service/Installation/Ductwork in Tampa, FL.
  • The job is in Tampa and in the surrounding areas.
  • Must have 2 to 10 years of Residential HVAC experience.
  • $500 Sign-on bonus will be paid to you in two Paychecks.

Qualifications:
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Valid social security number
  • Must pass a background check
  • EPA Certification is required
  • OSHA 10 certification, is preferred but not required.
Key Duties:
  • Install, service, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of the AC systems.
  • Conduct all HVACR jobs in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Perform routine HVACR service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
  • Travel to job sites in a service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
  • Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs of our customers.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicles including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection forms.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to bend/stoop, squat/crouch, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work both inside and outside, and around moving equipment safely.
