In this role, you will support customers in the governance of subcontractor project managers delivering solutions for our Lumen customers. Serves as project manager for low risk, low complexity software development projects.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Effectively collaborates to drive participation of the project team.
  • Supports projects using project management processes and tools.
  • Maintains awareness of project or portfolio governance.
  • Provides administrative support to our customers, including communicating project expectations, updates, and potential risks to team members and stakeholders.
  • May have financial reconciliation responsibilities.
  • Ensures risk management and procedural compliance of projects.
  • Partners with stakeholders to ensure accuracy of project deliverables and timelines.
  • Produces quality deliverables within deadlines.
  • Reports status of assigned work effort.
  • Identifies and escalates issues for resolution.
  • Ensures project processes and procedures are followed.
  • Meets training requirements and follows established procedures.


  • Project Governance:
    • Review Scope of Work to be delivered to customer
    • Coordinate Kick-Off Customer/Subcontractor
    • Hold Weekly or Bi-Weekly Progress Calls
    • Work with subcontractor PM to coordinate schedules
    • Network Services (If in scope)
      • Coordinate network services delivery with Lumen provisioning services
      • Communicate delivered network services to Subcontractor
      • Coordinate schedule for install/turn-up with Customer and Subcontractor
    • Customer Premise Equipment (If in scope)
      • Work with Customer PM to communicate customer provided CPE delivery dates to Subcontractor for scheduling
      • For Lumen provided CPE -assure orders are placed to coordinate delivery for solution to achieve custoemr desired date.
      • Monitor and relay tracking/delivery info
    • Billing/Invoicing
      • Request Vendor PO Set-up
      • Approve Vendor Invoices
      • Request Customer Invoicing
    • Project Closure
      • Project Closure Meeting
      • Complete Project Closure Checklist
      • Launch Custoemr Experience Survey
      • Complete Subcontractor KPI

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience


Education:

  • BA and 2 years’ experience or minimum 4 years related experience in project or vendor performance management.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
