Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator for our MBCI business who will support a Regional Sales Manager and their team in the Midwest. This is a remote role based in the U.S.

Our Inside Sales Coordinators are responsible for maintaining and growing the level of sales from current active and past non active customers. The candidate should be able and willing to prospect new business. This position works in partnership with district managers who travel the territory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cross functional knowledge of the various business lines
  • Ability to prospect utilizing the phone for new business and growth opportunities with existing customers - Reasonable to expect 25+ calls per day on average
  • Follow through till close with leads provided by internal and external sources
  • Follow through till close on all quotes. Quotes must be entered the same day and followed up on within 1 business day
  • Conduct and submit Customer Needs Analysis surveys as directed by the Sales manager-Reasonable to expect on average 10 per week
  • Conduct Prospect Surveys as directed by the Sales Manager- Reasonable to expect on average 10 per week
  • Report trends in the market including competitor activities to the sales leadership team
  • Take orders from new and existing customers in your territory and other territories if needed
  • Responsiveness to incoming calls is paramount.
  • Converse with customers using the DRIFT Chatbot feature on the MBCI website
  • Ensure orders are quoted correctly for the CSR team to enter accurate information (clean BOM)
  • Ensure customer issues are addressed within 48 hours
  • Attend the weekly sales meeting
  • Assist the designated Regional Manager and District Sales Managers in achieving business goals as well as their revenue and ton goal for the region
  • Work closely with the inter-department teams to ensure customer orders are followed through on

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 year post-secondary education required; Bachelor's degree is desirable, experience in lieu of education considered
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a sales role preferred
  • Must have high math aptitude to assist customers when ordering
  • Competitive Spirit
  • Must have high ability to multi-task
  • Must have high ability to learn, comprehend, and apply training as well as use best judgement for
  • case-by-case scenarios
  • High level of organization skills essential
  • Ability to make proactive decisions based on customer need
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrable evidence of business acumen
  • Project / Negotiation management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to read building drawings/blueprints essential
  • 5+ years of construction products sales experience a plus, but not required
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $26 per hour to $32 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
