Job Description
Essential Functions/Duties: Provide world class service to Essex Brownell Customers by providing one call resolution to customer issues, processing, timely and accurate entry of orders, follow-up, and information on products and product alternatives. Inside Sales Representatives will work with customers to manage their accounts, up-sell to meet customer needs and Essex Brownell sales goals, and liaise with other departments to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Initiate outbound calls for pre-qualified sales growth opportunities
- Receives and processes complex customer orders and inquiries.
- Retrieves and processes PO's and RFQ's from EDI, customer portals, and websites
*Offer one call resolution for any issues that may arise (stock check, tracking info, copper price) *Provides quotes, pricing, availability and schedule information within established guidelines *Suggests additional and/or alternative products as a solution to customer needs and to meet internal sales goals
- Serves as a communication link between customer, Outside sales staff, and Customer Support Center to assure responsiveness
- Develop and maintain customer quotations, records and files
- Utilize Salesforce.com to maintain current communications and to support sales targeting initiatives
- Possesses product knowledge and a willingness to learn about the product lines
REQUIRED knowledge/skills/abilities and other minimum qualifications:
- Associates Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Distribution
- Customer Focused individual
- Outstanding professional communications Skills (telephone and e-mail)
- Adaptability to new structures, process or procedures
- High level of organization skills
- Process improvement minded
- Demonstrated analytic approach to problem solve
