Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable inventory coordinator to join our growing company. This position’s primary responsibility will be to monitor and report on our company’s inventory processes and accuracy. The inventory coordinator position will be responsible for analyzing all operational processes that impact inventory, perform daily cycle counts, investigate variances, execute analysis on root causes of issues and develop recommendations for improvement.

A successful inventory coordinator is a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily cycle counts and variance investigation.

· Perform analysis to predict potential inventory problems.

· Review daily bin transfers and facilitate proper movement.

· Assist in training new employees on our WMS system.

· Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment (slotting, labeling, communication to AM/PM shifts etc)

· Communicate and coordinate with other departments for inventory returns, credits and push lists

· Perform slot checks to ensure proper replenishment

· Manage slot spacing for new items, deadstock items and slot reassignments based on usage to reduce AM replenishment

· Check product rotation and notify management of issues (expiration dates, out of rotation, etc)

· Manage repack and work with the office to keep to a minimum

· Analyze daily returns and provide recommended final disposition

Requirements:

· Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.

· An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.

· Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
