Job Description

LSG Sky Chefs has an opening for a Production Control Supervisor that will be involved with the daily activities of production, inventory, warehousing and distribution for the finished products being produced within our Customer Service Center (CSC).

Primary Duties

• Develop Master Schedule requirements from demand forecast, plant capacity, and historical data.
• Interact with production and sales personnel to update and advise of progress and new
• Manage volume and manufacturing location changes as needed to meet customer requirements
• Monitor inventories of raw material, work in process, and finished good in an effort to minimize costs and achieve plant inventory goals
• Oversee development and maintenance of tools that enhance production planning capability.
• Audit plant for compliance in department standards and practices
• Assure inside sales and plants utilize the ‘system’ through on site auditing and clear tracking metrics
• Maintain accurate needs attention inventory and implement measures for improvement
• Drive continuous improvement through training and strategic planning

Requirements

• BS degree in business, logistics, operations research, or related experience
• 3+ years of experience in a production planning/logistics/materials handling role
• Certifications in APICS, CPSM, Six Sigma, or LEAN Manufacturing are highly desired
• Knowledge of SAP and CBASE operating systems preferred
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office with specific emphasis on Excel, Access and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
