As a DevOps engineer lead on the Monitoring Team in Enterprise Hosting Services, you’ll help us to deliver best in class monitoring capabilities and services to improve the maturity of our performance, availability and capacity planning processes for both the application and infrastructure areas. In this role, you'll work on an Agile delivery team that delivers value to our enterprise customers while advancing Progressive’s monitoring capabilities, automating CICD Pipelines and underlying tool chains to enable self-service. You will also assist in evaluating Splunk data ingestion patterns and designing/implementing software products to support our customer requirements. Additionally, you'll perform research and development efforts pertaining to new features and capabilities.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
• In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.

Preferred skills

• Minimum of 2 years of DevOps experience utilizing code repositories and related tools, such as Git, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure and technologies with expertise in automation scripting using any of the following: PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, Python, or others
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and or Azure Cloud products
• Proven track record of leading complex initiatives and working across IT teams in designing and developing scalable CI/CD architectures and services
• Experience in designing and developing scalable CI/CD architectures and services for cloud platforms

Compensation

• $108,000-$130,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
