Job Description

We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our team and provide technical support to our employees and customers. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and supporting computer systems, networks, hardware, and software, ensuring their smooth operation, and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and customer service skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support to employees and customers, both in person and remotely, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and security checks, to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and networks.
  • Manage and monitor computer and network systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely.
  • Provide training and support to employees on the use of hardware and software applications, and develop user guides and manuals as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets and ensure that all equipment is properly licensed and registered.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technologies, trends, and developments in the IT industry, and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that all IT-related issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other software applications.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity is a plus.
