Responsibilities:

  • Implement assigned projects per project requirements, scope, and budget.
  • Manages existing Point of Sale implementation, troubleshooting, analyzing, and correcting any issues.
  • Deploys and maintains Point of Sale hardware and software as assigned.
  • Tracks project milestones manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Regularly conducts project reviews to improve processes.
  • Analyze software function in consultation with users to determine how to best implement new functionality.
  • Design, document, analyze, test, and implement new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
  • Design, develop, implement, coordinate, and update systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on a timely basis.
  • Assess new computing technologies and feasibility of system enhancements to determine potential value for the organization.
  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested for successful completion of the mission of Goodwill Industries of the Valleys
  • May be required to work after hours and holidays.
  • Must participate in the on-call rotation to provide evening and weekend support.
  • Must be able to travel on an as-needed basis, staying overnight if required.
  • Must provide cell phone for specified work responsibilities including the use of a phone-based application for authentication.

Qualifications:

  • AAS degree in the field of computer Technology or 6+ months equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Autopilot.
  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Highly self- motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of insurance is required to drive personal vehicle on company business. Additionally, an acceptable motor vehicle record based on Goodwill guidelines is required to drive a company vehicle or transport program participants.
