We are looking for a Kennel Assistant who loves to walk and play with dogs. The successful candidate will regularly perform kennel duties, walking and playing with the dogs on site and making sure they have space and time to exercise in their kennels. This person will also be responsible for managing incoming deliveries and addressing customer concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets while taking dogs back to play yards.
• Provide for animals’ proper nutrition. meal prep
• Clean kennel areas, enclosures, and animal habitats.
• Understand animal behavior, recognize illnesses, and provide proper first aid.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Monitor animal health status and alert the staff to potential problems.
• Recognize losses or changes in appetite or behavior of individual animals.
• answer phone calls
• check emails
• check voicemessages
• wash dog bowls
• laundry for towels, beds, blankets toys, etc.
• be very organized
• must be able to multi task
• be okay with loud barking
• lifting over 50 pounds
• poop pick up
• stay off social media, texting, etc. while working

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tampa, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
