This is a Promotional/Open Opportunity. Any interested candidates may apply. Current monthly-salaried employees that successfully pass the examination process receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.

For the 2022-23 school year, any newly hired Landscape Technician II will receive a $1,000 new hire incentive.

The Landscape Technician II plants and cares for lawns, shrubbery, and trees; assists in the training and direction of entry level Landscape Technicians; and performs other skilled gardening and ground maintenance duties.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to one year of recent, full-time, paid, diversified gardening or landscaping work.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California driver's license.
Personality and character suited to working on school grounds.

EXAMINATION PROCESS:
