Role Overview:

Finder.com is seeking a talented PR and Content Marketing Manager to lead its high-performing PR & Content Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our strategy to drive high-quality backlinks into our website and media mentions. You will leverage both proprietary and authoritative third-party data to tell compelling stories aligned with Finder's key personal finance categories, and work closely with Publishing & Editorial teams to identify opportunities and create content that attracts inbound links from authoritative and relevant websites.

The role requires someone with strong writing & communication skills, comfortability working with and analyzing data, adept knowledge of SEO, and experience working in a high performing team. The role also requires someone who is media savvy and understands how to pitch and win coverage and links.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop our PR and content marketing team, initially with two reports.
  • Develop and execute strategic PR and content marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and with a key focus on building high quality links into the site
  • Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to secure media coverage and backlinks
  • Promote Finder's spokespeople to media and work closely with them to deliver reactive and insightful commentary to the media.
  • Create compelling and shareable content, including blog posts, research, infographics, and other data visualizations
  • Optimize content for search engines to improve website rankings and attract organic traffic
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all press releases and content marketing aligns with our brand voice and messaging
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, PR coverage, and social media engagement to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Manage outreach campaigns to pitch content and secure backlinks from authoritative websites
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities for PR and content marketing

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in public relations and content marketing, preferably in the financial or digital industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of SEO and link building strategies
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Heavy media user, up-to-date on general news and viral trends
  • Experience using PR and content marketing tools such as HARO, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics

Nice to Have:

  • Experience publishing on WordPress
  • Base knowledge of HTML
  • Experience utilizing data visualization and infographic tools such as Canva, DataWrapper, or equivalent software
  • Knowledge of internal planning tools including JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience working with survey providers
