Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Plans, organizes, and develops technology training curricula, material, and programs to support enterprise-wide projects:
    • Analyzes learning needs and partners with Project Managers, Technical and Business Subject Matter Experts to design and develop training approach and course content.
    • Documents timeline for content development and delivery
    • Creates visual content such as diagrams, charts, etc. to support learning.
  • Plans, writes, and maintains systems and user support documentation efforts, including online help screen:
    • Elicit technical content and translate for a non-technical audience.
    • Translates business specifications into user documentation.
  • Sources and coordinates external computer-based training resources.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of related experience.
This job is non-exempt in California and Washington

Preferred Experience:
  • Communicating with all levels of the organization, ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise language for multiple audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Familiarity with documentation publishing software such as Camtasia or SnagIt.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Requires prolonged sitting.
  • Requires continuous use of computer.
  • May lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lbs.
  • Requires regular and predictable attendance.
