Title: LTL Pallet Collection Rep/Box Truck Driver (Class C License or Class A) Pay: $18.00-$20.00 an hour DOE

Location: Dallas, TX 75227

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 M (OT as needed) must be open to both hours)

Type: Temp-to-Perm

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck w/ Liftgate while adhering to all DOT regulations
• Perform daily pre and post trip checks
• Follow collection route along with additional stops as assigned
• Document the time of arrival and departure from each stop either manually or electronically
• Communicate with stores personnel to collect pallets
• Count pallets based on type/color and document the quantities collected on a client form
• Stack/Re-stack pallets in order to maximize quantity loaded onto the truck
• Load and secure pallets on truck using pallet jack and load straps
• Return to the service center to unload truck once it is full
• Provide documentation of pallet counts to the receiving location
• Answer general questions regarding the collection process
• Work in a safe manner at all times and should not perform any tasks that they deem unsafe, even if that means a collection/delivery cannot be completed
• Assist with other duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Medical DOT card
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Good customer service
• Eye for detail and accuracy
• Must be able to use IPHONE, computers, outlook, texting, emailing and be able to use routing apps
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Good attendance/reliability
• Must have reliable transportation and clean MVR
• Background screen and drug test will be administered
