In this managerial role, you'll use your knowledge and analytical skills to help determine how clinical providers group up by specialty and service line. Primary Responsibilities:

  • This role directly supports OK/TX Medicare business coordinating with M&R/C&S and internal teams
  • Solve problems and operational challenges related to capitated medical group contracts
  • Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams to support relationships with capitated medical groups
  • Set team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of own team
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Oversee network analysis and strategy development and implementation
  • Drive program design and implementation to improve quality and affordability through improvements in appropriateness and effectiveness
  • Ensure teams are obtaining, validating and analyzing data impacting network availability and access
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with a managed care organization or health insurer; or as a consultant in a network/contract management role, such as contracting, provider services, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience managing staff , project management, or project lead experience
  • 3+ years of experience with contract submission, validation and maintenance with solid knowledge of business processes that impact contact loading and auditing
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with claims systems
  • Proficiency with provider contract reimbursement methodologies

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
