Role Overview:

The Manager, FP&A is responsible for delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision making by senior leaders. This is a highly visible and key role in providing critical financial and strategic consultation to leaders across the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial budgeting and forecasting, P&L and balance sheet review, and other complex financial analyses required to profitably and sustainably grow the business.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the FP&A planning and forecasting process and build detailed projection models translating information from the business into P&L and working capital expectations
  • Support month-end reporting activities to ensure timely, well-presented, and accurate P&L, cash flow, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and review presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management
  • Manage employee life cycle of direct reports
  • Responsible for goal setting, delegation of tasks and review of employee work
  • Partner with Corporate department leaders to develop accurate budgeting and forecasting processes and provide supporting analysis.
  • Work together with Financial Systems to support the financial consolidation system as well as other tools
  • Provide financial reporting support for business units, training users and answering questions on the consolidation system as needed
  • Support the development of system solutions and process improvements that meet the needs of the business.
  • Challenge, develop, and improve processes to drive efficiencies and improve performance
  • Ad hoc support and requests


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 6-8 years finance experience preferred; managerial experience required
  • Ability to independently oversee and review the work of others
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • OneStream and/or Hyperion Financial Management experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Advanced financial analysis and forecasting experience, with the ability to work independently on projects
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task while adhering to deadlines and maintaining accuracy
  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus
