Job Description


Seeking a Marketing Assistant to join KENTECH’s new division. Working directly with the Founder to support content marketing strategy, SEO, and social media. The ideal candidate is extremely organized with strong writing and communication skills. Additional skills include experience with HubSpot, Google, Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), Google Analytics and can manage multiple assignments and deadlines to support our SEO and content marketing initiatives. This position is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of a crucial new brand and projects such as assembling a Rockstar marketing team and taking a new product to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Marketing

  • Contribute to social media postings and management of social media accounts and content calendar
  • Update web content, working with Founder
  • Shooting videos for Social Media posting including some graphic designs and video editing for posting.
  • Video content curation and editing, a basic understanding of design principles for photo layout to complement the content.
  • Assist with creation of email campaigns

Research & Analysis

  • Keep up with current industry trends (Small Business Hiring Needs, Essential worker & Industry hiring trends, Family caregiver hiring, new parents.) and topics to ensure effective communications.
  • Google Analytics and can manage multiple assignments and deadlines to support our SEO and content marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with key hires research and hiring, reviewing resumes, posting identifying top freelancers, etc.

Content Strategy

  • Assist with staying abreast of our buyer's personas, general HR tech trends, and overall competitive market landscape.
  • Assist with developing a content strategy that supports developing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic, nurturing sales, and closing deals.
  • Assist with maintaining editorial calendars and content project plans, and determine metrics for ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content
  • Assist with all communications adhere to brand and communications standards and are written in a consistent new brand "voice"
  • Assist with providing accurate and timely project reporting on all content marketing activities
  • Assist in Proofing content, keeping content relevant and fresh to drive traffic, engage visitors

Customer Support

  • Support customer based via chatbot and responding to support tickets
  • Creating customer knowledgebase
  • Respond to customer’s questions, comments, and concerns that come through social
  • Media
  • Additionally, other duties and requirements may be added as business and market needs change, therefore, the ability to adapt quickly is essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications or writing-focused roles
  • Excellent written skills for online and print
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems, HTML, Hubspot, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent grammar, copy editing, and proofreading skills - best practices for online content following AP style guide
  • Strong communication, team relationship, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Familiar with Search Engine Optimization tools (ahrefs, semrush etc) a plus
