Express is looking for Mechanical Assemblers to start immediately with companies in the areas of Miramar, Poway and Rancho Bernardo. We are looking for energetic team members to ensure the accurate and timely assembly and delivery of products. We have a number of long-term opportunities for permanent positions offering medical/dental insurance, paid time off and other benefits.

You will need to be meticulous, strive for a safe and clean work environment, have previous assembly and/or manufacturing experience and be available to work overtime.

Mechanical Assembler Highlights:

• Follow production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions.

• Interpret and work from drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.

• 
  Prep and/or combine sub-assemblies using the appropriate hardware and move them to the appropriate location

• 
  Use, maintain, and put back in the proper place the tools called out for each operation

• 
  Position and align parts in a specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.

• Troubleshoot and rework defects on assemblies

What We Look for in Mechanical Assemblers:

• High school diploma or GED

  Clear understanding of mechanical hardware (wrenches, screwdrivers, power tools, etc.) and proper methods

  Basic level knowledge of blueprints and Bill of Materials

  Requires ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

  Must be available for overtime weekdays and Saturdays as needed

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 1st Shift 5am-1:30pm (2nd shift 9:30am-6:00pm)
