Job Description

GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Mechanical Engineer. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work with various designs through the prototype phases of development and be able to take technical direction from senior staff and provide feedback.
  • Mentor other engineers and bring new dimensions to a dynamic engineering group.
  • The ability to deliver success in challenging projects involving cutting edge technology.
  • Provides technical support to manufacturing.
  • Transitions products from engineering to manufacturing and provides all the necessary documentation for production. Accurately document product development and maintain project books.
  • Travel as required to support products in launch or field use.

QULAIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
    5 - 8 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and optimization of downhole oil and gas tools
  • Technical background, manufacturing experience, knowledge of tool and equipment design highly desired.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers and customers.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to read blueprints and use SolidWorks
  • Ability to analyze information and make decisions, project management, mentoring and applicable skill set.
