Axis Spine and Pain, a PartnerCare Affiliated Company, is looking for a Dedicated Medical Assistant to join us in Macon,GA!

How You Contribute and Succeed

The Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows Partnercare's service standards. You will be a part of the Clinical Care Team and will engage with our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health.

The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient and demonstrate compassion to those experiencing chronic and/or acute pain.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment and supplies needed prior / during patient examinations.
  • Prepare patients for consultation, taking/documenting vital signs.
  • Schedule appointments for patients.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, vendors, physicians, coworkers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Work directly with Physician and/or Office Manager on all aspects of practice operations and workflow.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of incoming calls while multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

Education and Experience:

  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants course.
  • 2 years' of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Current ACLS and/or CPR certification.
