The Medical Technologist II is responsible for all aspects of processing and performing medical laboratory testing, procedures and analyses to provide and communicate data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Demonstrates the leadership skills for the purpose of training others, maintaining lab equipment, completing projects, and maintaining the laboratory in compliance with all appropriate regulatory agencies.

Education

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Medical Technology (Required)

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• ASCP Registration (Preferred)

Experience and Skills

• 0 - 1 year Hospital based Medical Technology experience (Required)
• 2 - 4 years Hospital based Medical Technology experience (Preferred)
• Required Skills: Strong Verbal Communication Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Strong ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
