Job Summary:
The Manager Treasury Merchant Services position will lead all functions pertaining to the management of the treasury merchant services program (defined below) for all Rush University Medical Center (Rush) and its subsidiaries. As an integral member of the Treasury office, the Treasury Manager - Merchant Services will lead the centralized merchant card services program, managing all touch points where credit card payments are taken across the System. This includes leading Treasury¡¦s involvement with PCI compliance and serves as a liaison to Cyber Security, Revenue Cycle, Legal and all areas accepting credit card payments. The individual in this position will exemplify the Rush mission, vision and values including a commitment to diversity and inclusion and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
Manages the merchant services treasury program, including implementation and post-implementation of new payment devices.
Develops management reporting and communication tools to analyze the efficiency of merchant services processes, costs, and systems.
Leads contract negotiation and agreements related to merchant processors and gateway providers.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for Treasury Services including those related to PCI compliance, merchant card processing, and treasury management.
Represents Treasury in the PCI Governance Committee and leads the PCI initiatives and projects.
Lead cross functional teams/projects across the System in a collaborative fashion to achieve desired results.
Maintain a culture of quality, continuous improvement, exceptional service, and the highest professional ethics.
Facilitates PCI training for stakeholders across the organization.
Provides guidance to the PCI Governance Committee to help navigate PCI standards, which may regularly evolve.
Oversees all Rush¡¦s on-line merchant services portals as the lead administrator.
Maintains comprehensive documentation of all Rush¡¦s merchant IDs, point-of-sale equipment, and related credit card devices.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, information technology, or a related field with outstanding academic credentials required.
Minimum of five years of experience in treasury, finance operations, or information technology.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
Experience creating and maintaining client/vendor/department relationships.
Ability to analyze process flows and make recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Previous experience in merchant services and PCI standards is needed.
Experience with Treasury and banking systems/platforms.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team to accomplish broader goals and objectives.
