Network Services Finance Planner

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Evaluating the financial impact of new or changed strategies of the service provider.
  • Securing funding to manage the provision of services.
  • Facilitating good stewardship of service and customer assets to ensure the enterprise meets its objectives. This should be done together with service asset, configuration management, and knowledge management.
  • Understanding the relationship between expenses and income and ensuring that the two are balanced according to the enterprise financial policies.
  • Managing and reporting expenditure on service provision on behalf of the enterprise stakeholders.
  • Executing the financial policies and practices in the provision of services
  • Accounting for money spent on the creation, delivery and support of services.
  • Forecasting the financial requirements for the IT service provider to be able to meet its service commitments to its customers, and compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Where appropriate, defining a framework to recover the costs of service provision from the customer
  • Responsible for Service scope and reporting. Reviewing longer-term metrics for their team and handling performance that is outside of the defined thresholds.
  • Ability to interact and communicate financials to LL4+
  • Strong communication skills to be the liaison between the Network Business Office and Network Service owners for any financial requests.
  • Creativity in Financial storytelling to present the actual financial pictures.
  • A self-starter that thrives on challenges and creative problem solving.
  • A financial leader who can provide insight to the service offering owners regarding their budgets and anticipate their needs.
  • A financial project manager that will organize the processes for the service owners, put methodologies in place, and follow through with expectations.
  • Voice of the Service
    • Provides the voice of the Service across the organization, as defined in service artifacts
    • Interfaces with Business office, Functional teams, and Service Owner to act as ONE Team in delivery of the Service

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Methodologies and Analysis

Our preferred requirements:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • 3+ years of experience managing medium-to-large scale projects
  • Proficient in Excel & Power Point
  • Proficient in Project Management Tools
