Description

SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Network Evaluators to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to provide computer network defense capabilities, continuous monitoring, technical analysis, situational awareness, and incident response for the highest classified capabilities, systems, and data in our Nation. As the Network Evaluator, you will find vulnerabilities, deliver analysis, craft mitigations, and develop cybersecurity products.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assisting develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems
  • Utilizing information collected from a variety of sources (e.g., intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events that occur, and defend against events that may occur
  • Collaborating with a team to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise
  • Forming hypotheses, and critically assessing and choosing analysis techniques, then querying, merging, enriching, evaluating, and pivoting within data to attain and share insights

Qualifications


  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in computer or information systems design and development, programming, information, cybersecurity, network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and network administration or systems administration
