Job Description

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm PST
Location: Remote (Must work Pacific Standard Time)

Position Purpose: Work closely as a member of the provider network information team in support of activities relating to network provider credentialing, provider relations, claims processing, and customer service to troubleshoot and correct issues pertaining to provider information.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the faxes, files and other sources of incoming provider data notifications to ensure that provider network data is processed in a timely manner
• Entering provider data into system for new and re-credentialed network providers accurately and in a timely manner, consistent with department service level expectations and individual specialists’ performance objectives
• Enters exception fee schedules for providers in systems consistent with Supervisor’s direction and department policies and procedures
• Assists staff from other internal departments regarding questions or issues with network provider data
• Skilled use of internal systems and applications for provider network, member data, utilization management, claims adjudication, and customer service
• Development of detailed knowledge relating to State and Federal requirements for providers participating in Medicare and Medicaid contracts

Requirements:

2 years of Data Entry experience
2 years of Health Insurance experience/knowledge
2 years of Provider Credentialing experience
