Job Description

Durgin Pines is hiring an experience leader to fill the role of Administrator. Durgin Pines offers a multi-generational program offering a pre-school program as well as Skilled Rehab and Long-Term Care. The Administrator at Durgin Pines will have the privilege of working with an experienced team of Directors and a dedicated staff. We are looking for an Administrator who wants to work as part of small Maine owned group that allows them the autonomy to lead their facility.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare related field.

· Current Maine Nursing Home or Multi-level administrator’s license.

· 3-5 years’ experience as an Administrator in a long-term care facility preferred

· Ability to supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel.

· Ability to keep abreast of rapid changes in the long-term care community.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.

· Review competency of work force.

· Work with Department Directors to establish policies and procedures pertaining to total resident care, personnel, medical staff, financial status, public relations, maintenance of the building and grounds.

· Work with the COO and the CFO to maintain an efficient accounting and budgeting system to meet the needs of the facility, and maintain budgetary control of all departments,

· Maintain liaison with community hospitals and other health care facilities to coordinate their services through transfer agreements,

· Review the physical condition of the facility and direct repairs and new construction programs within the financial capabilities of the facility,

· Authorize purchases of new equipment and supplies,
