Position Summary: Pilot John International seeks an experienced individual for Customer Success - Order Management for our Greenville, NC headquarters to support our mission of providing exceptional service to the aviation industry. As an integral member of the PJi team, the Specialist works as a team member on our sales team to assist our customers daily.

  • Processing all customer orders internally. Included but not limited to; purchase order, web-based order, over-the-phone order, and/or estimate-based order.
  • Providing our customers with accurate information at the time of order and collecting export documentation as necessary.
  • Responsible for placing related stock orders.
  • Ensuring all orders sent to vendors are acknowledged and logging relevant information on completion into our database.
  • Responsible for correspondence between PJi and manufacturers/vendors in relation to order statuses and updates. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining accurate information in thePJi database.
  • Contacting customers in the event there are any notable changes that need to be made to theirorders. This includes; pricing changes, change in expected delivery dates, etc.
  • Assisting customers with order related questions to keep them informed.
  • Working alongside the Quality Control Manager to make sure our vendors are complying with our vendor standards.
  • Processing payments for web-based orders.
  • Following through on posted payments, ensuring related orders are processed as quickly as possible for optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Logging all customer complaints and feedback and reporting instances to the direct report.
  • Expected to monitor related sales team email inboxes and assist sales team members with other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical:Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasonable Ability:

Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

Advanced understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite of Office Products, Communication/collaboration tools (MS Teams, Skype, etc.).

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
