We are currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Picker for an entry level position in the Harford and Cecil County regions. There is a focus on teamwork, including intradepartmental cohesion and interdepartmental collaboration. The Warehouse Picker is responsible for efficiently and effectively building orders for delivery according to Pepsi Bottling Co standards.

This is a physical and fast-paced position that requires you be on your feet for eight hours per day constantly lifting product, walking standing and working in an environment where you could be exposed to weather elements such as heat or cold.

The position has a Monday through Friday day time schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds, wraps, and labels orders
• Completes order sheets per company policies
• Cleans and maintains work area
• Repackages damaged product
• Carries out all instructions from supervisors efficiently
• Works in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instruction
• Ability to use equipment such as:

• Manual pallet jack
• Hand carts

• Time management skills in order to meet targets correctly and efficiently

Education:

High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

• Regularly walking and standing
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to withstand being exposed to weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
