Natural Care Institute and Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital are looking for a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician or VTIT to assist our DVMs with offering veterinary services to our clients and patients. Animal Kingdom and Natural Care are well-established veterinary facilities within the community and have a very dedicated and committed client base interested in pursuing the health and wellness of their pets. We offer a wide range of tools to assist you in your work: In-house diagnostic capability, radiology, dental radiography, ultrasound machine, laser therapy machine, and a host of other options.
We have a remodel of our Natural Care facility on the horizon with plans to add our hydrotherapy equipment.

A few job duties and skills:
Placing IV catheters
Collecting patient history and vitals
Maintain surgical suite, equipment, and medical supplies
Assist in surgery as the expert anesthesiologist
Assist with training VA and Vet Tech students
Experienced with utilizing correct patient restraint
Experienced in venipuncture
EzyVet experience a PLUS
Occasional assistance at the front desk assisting clients

Assists varied levels of technicians with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges.
Serve as the key advisor to senior finance/business leadership by providing insightful analysis, persuasive commentary, and relevant data that enable decisions.
Minimum of 3-5 years medical office experience. Current knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and preauthorization.
