Your Contribution to the Organization:

The Partner IT Experience and Engagement Leader establishes and defines high-impact operations to build trusting relationships for HPE’s vast partner and distributor network. As this Director, you will partner with executive management to identify potentials gaps, establish operational efficiencies and new business opportunities, including process transformation, modernization, and automation. Oversees and manages initiatives and communicates the strategic direction and project progress to the business. Provides strong leadership regarding the execution of IT services for HPE’s partners and distributors. Builds and maintains high levels of service across the common set of infrastructure, applications and tools leveraged by partners and distributors. Works with executive teams to coordinate remediation strategies and provide a white glove experience in the midst of a global transformation.

Directs, manages, leads, and coordinates the integration of existing and/or new Information Technology solutions according to requirements of HPE’s partners and distributors for the CIO with a global footprint. Will be responsible for transformation of the partner and distributor experience. Other areas of scope will include business and technical systems design, acquisition and/or development, implementation, and support; infrastructure design, acquisition, implementation, operation, and maintenance; client services support. Establishes functional business plans and technical project and program objectives to meet the short- and long-term goals and metrics of the organization, including internal/external partners required to utilize alternative resourcing plans. Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and process capabilities for use by multiple/all business and IT constituents; drives architectural standards and simplification. Ensures the design, development, delivery, and supportability of services/solutions for businesses are in accordance with business and IT objectives.

How you will make your mark:

  • Responsible for monitoring and supporting the improvement of the IT experience of HPE’s top distributors and resellers
  • Develop data-driven perspective on priority issues to improve IT experience for HPE’s top distributors and resellers
  • Manage IT relationship and responsiveness with top HPE distributors
  • Organize and schedule regular COO executive reviews with key partners
  • Monitor Day-In-The-Life progress, Voice of the Customer and issues raised in partner sessions to summarize and guide strategic partner priorities for IT
  • Ensure timely follow up on top distributor issues across IT and other relevant groups
  • Partner with channel sales, global ops, pointnext, Aruba, and other organizations to engage effectively with partners and improve end-to-end experience
  • Audit resolution of partners’ support issues and effectiveness of coordination across business and IT Ops teams
  • Validate the relevance of IT performance and stability monitors to measure true partner experience
  • Coordinate proactive partner communications in collaboration with uERP governance and Global Ops
  • Establish and maintain sessions for strategic roadmap collaboration with top partners
  • Create communication materials for partner audiences that share simple compelling messages
  • Eliminate barriers preventing the resolution of partner experience issues
  • Work with the Enterprise architecture, release management and application teams to maintain the roadmap of IT changes and downtimes impacting partners

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field and a minimum of 15 years of related IT leadership experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to translate between technical and business teams.
  • 10 years of experience managing vendor and IT resource relationships.

Annual Salary: $123,200.00 - $297,900.00
