Job Description

Powell Bros. Feed & Pet Supply is looking for a pet groomer for our salon department. The schedule is self-managed via MoeGo's All-In-One Pet Grooming Platform. We are particularly interested in candidates that are experienced and feel comfortable working on their own without supervision. Candidates that can work during the second half of the day and weekends are preferred, but the schedule is flexible and open to discussion.

Position Requirements:

• Must be passionate about working and caring for animals. Must understand the importance of safe-handling and pet health safety.
• We would prefer a candidate with at least 2 years of grooming experience, however if a demonstration of work shows that you are capable of high quality results we may consider an applicant with less than 2 years of experience. Must have knowledge of different breed standard cuts.
• Self-motivated and independent worker. This position does not have a direct supervisor so you will need to hold yourself accountable. Ideally, we prefer to have dogs completed within 2 hours under normal circumstances so you will need to be fast and efficient.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and other staff members. Must be able to maintain salon cleanliness. Must have a professional demeanor at all times while you are on the premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in case you need to pick up a dog.
• Experience with MoeGo is a bonus, but not required.
• Willingness to groom cats is a bonus, but not required. Groomer's Discretion.
• Multilingualism is a bonus, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
