Job Description

The Dog House Of L.C. &L., Inc. in Niles, IL is looking for one pet groomer to join our 19 person strong team. We are located on 7254 N Milwaukee Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.
Role and Responsibilities
The Dog House is looking for an experienced and professional Pet Groomer to join our growing company!

• Groomers are responsible for making sure all pets are safe and happy during their time in our care.
• Great customer service is a must! Groomers must be able to communicate with the clients to insure they meet their needs and have the best experience possible.
• Answering phones, emails, and messages from clients and scheduling grooming appointments.
• Checking pets in and out for grooming services.
• Maintaining a clean work environment by cleaning and disinfecting grooming areas after each pet and at end of day. Clean and maintain all equipment used in the process.

Groomers will need to provide their own tools but will be provided with the following:
1. Shampoos, conditioners, disinfectants, and all other products used in the grooming process.
2. Large equipment such as dryers, table, tubs, and kennels.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Pet Grooming: Minimum of 1 year experience
Cat Grooming: Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
Must be able to lift 50+lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.
Must be able to maintain control over dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Must be flexible with weekend and holidays

Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
