Our groomers have a better experience because the pets have a better experience. The mobile environment is so different from any shop environment. The dog does not have to go on a car ride first, this is where anxiety begins. Then the dog doesn’t have to feed on the anxiety of other dogs in earshot. The groomer never has to stop to intake another customer or to answer a phone. All of the groomer’s attention is on 1 dog at a time. We all agree that ONCE YOU GO MOBILE YOU WON'T GO BACK TO A SHOP!
Job Summary
We are searching for an experienced Pet Groomer to join the team at our successful grooming business. As a Pet Groomer, you will bathe and clip dogs according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim nails, clean ears, detangle hair, and generally ensure that pets look and feel their best. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for pets, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities

• Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
• Bathe dogs and dry coat
• Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
• Trim nails using a dremmel
• Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
• Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
• Grooming Pets SAFELY & COMFORTABLY
• 5-7 dogs on average per day
• 8-hour day minimum
• Keeping mobile clean & organized
• Driving to client's houses within a few minutes between stops

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role
• Comfortable working with all breeds and sizes
• Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and pet owners
• Strong attention to detail
• 1-year professional grooming experience is a MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
• Passion to work with pets
• Safe & proper scissoring skills
• Has been in a high-volume salon or mobile previously and learned pet behaviors
• Understands and can follow breed clips
• Cat grooming is a plus
• Communicate professionally with our clientele
