Expert Technical Writer able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment to deliver an electronic health record system. Primary responsibility is to write and edit documents for software development and program & project management admin support.
Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; experience with IT procurement required. Candidates with Health Information Technology experience are preferred.
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Translating technical information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
2. Developing and/or maintaining the following types of documentation: solicitation documents (e.g., RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, Contract Amendments) to procure software & other technology/hardware; communications for diverse stakeholder groups; system documentation and release notes; user manuals and training guides; installation guides; computer operations and program maintenance manuals; plans for training, testing, quality assurance, and contingency operations; backup, recovery and restart procedures; proposals, presentations, reports, standard operating procedures (SOP), policies and procedures.
3. Editing of special reports or any other deliverables and documents.
4. Tracking and coordinating review of internal team and 3rd party vendor deliverables.
5. Project management administrative support such as compiling status reports, tracking expenditures, maintaining library of project deliverables in Microsoft Teams and/or SharePoint.
6. Documenting and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.
