A Private Montessori school with amazing facilities located in Alhambra is looking for a Preschool Teacher for 2-3 year old students. If you have at least 12 ECE units, an enthusiastic attitude with strong organization skills, we would love to hire! We are looking for a teacher with high levels of energy, enthusiasm, focus and the ability to follow directions. You must be a self-starter, have experience working with children. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) or accredited Montessori training.
• Pass a physical exam.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Undergo CPR/First Aid training.
• Able to lift and carry children 2 - 5 years of age.
• Provide at least 2 references.
• Be able to keep an excellent on time attendance record.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach and manage a class of 36 children in coordination with two other teachers.
• Follow the Hybrid Montessori Curriculum.
• Undergo in-house Montessori training provided by the school.
• Willingness to do diaper changes.
• Implement our new Apple iPad integrated curriculum
• Clean and maintain a tidy well-organized classroom.
• Follow school policies yet have the initiative to create your own unique enhancements to the preschool program.
• Achieve academic goals for the children set by the school.
• Keep an extremely clean classroom, mopping, vacuuming and wiping down desks at the end of every day and follow our checklist for cleaning.
