Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport and develop a therapeutic relationship with children/
adults and families.
- Provide medication management services to individuals and/or
families
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, differentiating between
emergency and non-emergency tasks, and responding accordingly.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Assessment, evaluation, and treatment consistently reflects advanced
competency in psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, medication
management, and patient care.
- Assess problems appropriately in terms of scope, consequences, and
needed interventions.
- Place a priority on continuing education and advancing skills as
standards of practice, theories, and treatment modalities change.
- Maintain an awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and licensing
requirements as they relate to client documentation and patient care.
- Assume accountability for providing appropriate documentation of all
medication management sessions, significant incident occurrences,
phone conversations, etc., consistent with applicable regulatory
requirements.
- Work effectively and participate actively with administrative staff and
multidisciplinary treatment team on a regular basis, including, ongoing
collaboration of care with therapy providers.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has the following:
- One of the following degrees: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine, or Nurse Practitioner with clinical hours in
psychiatry.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice medicine in Maryland.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Early Career MDs, DOs, and NPs are encouraged to apply.
- Prescribers with fellowship training and special interest in Child/
Adolescent Psychiatry, Women’s mood disorders, LGBTQIA + issues,
Substance Use Disorders, Psychedelic medicine are also encouraged to
apply.
Full time (35 Clinical hours ), we also have part time opportunities available for Prescribers. Gladstone
