Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the portfolio of process improvement projects among the clinical operations departments
- Work with the matrix team as clinical operations process improvement projects cross departments and functional areas
- Train, coach and develop managers to effectively utilize continuous improvement principles and LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies
- Document current workflows, identify bottlenecks/at risk areas, develop recommendations for change/new process, coordinate implementation, make adjustments as needed, monitor post-implementation process improvements
- Apply automation and innovation to all process improvement projects
- Evaluate project performance and key performance indicators, including ROI
- Ensure key stakeholder requirements are met on all process improvement initiatives
- Identify and share best practices across the matrix team
- Create process improvement training program with the performance team
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Experience managing process improvement projects required, preferably in healthcare
Black Belt LEAN/Six Sigma
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Project management certification preferred
