Job Description

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage the portfolio of process improvement projects among the clinical operations departments
  • Work with the matrix team as clinical operations process improvement projects cross departments and functional areas
  • Train, coach and develop managers to effectively utilize continuous improvement principles and LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies
  • Document current workflows, identify bottlenecks/at risk areas, develop recommendations for change/new process, coordinate implementation, make adjustments as needed, monitor post-implementation process improvements
  • Apply automation and innovation to all process improvement projects
  • Evaluate project performance and key performance indicators, including ROI
  • Ensure key stakeholder requirements are met on all process improvement initiatives
  • Identify and share best practices across the matrix team
  • Create process improvement training program with the performance team
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Experience managing process improvement projects required, preferably in healthcare
Black Belt LEAN/Six Sigma
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Project management certification preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Organized, strong attention to detail, ability to self-direct through prioritizing and pivoting as needed to meet deadlines
