Responsibilities

Oversee the Procurement team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of core procurement services and continuous improvement in support of training and education for both buyer staff and SCRI requisitioners. Work closely with Procurement team members to support customer demand, improve the customer buying experience, deliver on day-to-day operational activities, and provide capacity and expertise to ensure productivity and other customer-oriented projects/solutions. Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion within a dynamic research environment. collaborate with internal procurement and Center stakeholders to translate business needs into sourcing, spend management activities, and intranet webpage content enhancement.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in a business, research life sciences or healthcare field; or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement for life science research labs, supply chain and/or strategic sourcing, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role - Proven project management experience - Experience in procurement management and knowledge of products to be sourced - Proven team facilitation experience - Development and growth of team Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - MBA, MHA, or equivalent

Min to Max Hourly Salary

$39. 24 - $58.86 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$81,619.20 - $122,428.80 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
