Labatt Food Service seeks a Produce Buyer to be responsible for purchasing, expediting, and maintaining manufacturer product lines in our Produce Department using proprietary software tools. Additional position responsibilities include inventory management and replenishment, pricing negotiations, maintenance of vendor relationships, and communication with sales force and top management.

Position works directly with the Produce Manager and provides the opportunity to learn an entire business within a business, including separate P&L performance measurement. The position involves developing technical product expertise on all produce vendor lines.

Candidate must be organized, communicate well, and effectively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain or similar field. 1-2 years experience in purchasing preferred.
