$35.00 per hour

2-month contract (opp. to extend)

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Large publishing company is looking for a Product Designer to help create next generation digital learning experiences for their K-12 Math program. They’re looking for someone who can develop innovative solutions, brainstorm, and translate high-level visions into compelling print and digital experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating visually engaging, user friendly, print, and digital designs that align with product strategy and goals
• Developing the design rationale and explaining visual choices to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Delivering designs on time and within budget
• Collaborating on the media asset (illustrations, photography, videos, animations) strategy based on research inputs and content strategy
• Clearly articulate choices to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to develop engaging print and digital product design solutions
• Training and managing vendors to help scale work
• Advocating for the user throughout product development

Who we’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Arts, formal Design Degree, or related field required
• 3-5+ years of work experience with web and/or print visual design
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CC programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual sensibilities, compelling ideas, and a thorough understanding of design process
• Understanding web standards and technologies, including CSS & HTML
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for learning, teaching, and media design
