Job Description


The Product Owner for Experian Health’s Shared Service/Platform Access team, will be a key leader in creating solutions that help us scale our access platforms to improve the way healthcare is delivered to patients.

This role will have the responsibility of technical product oversight for delivery and execution of solutions identified by the Product Manager and key stakeholders in Experian Health.

Specific responsibilities Include:

  • Actively participate with product development teams to define product requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria
  • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with the team to assess priority
  • Role model the effective gathering of additional insight directly from the client and other external sources of expert information to offer unique and current perspectives on the overall product vision and backlog.
  • An expert at identifying and acting against complex and distant potential road blockers, holding team members accountable for identifying and addressing individual road blockers to personal progress.
  • Create and update product support materials
  • Support implementation processes and documentation to communicate and set client expectations and assist with troubleshooting on product issues as needed.
  • Evaluation and incorporation of intelligent technologies including AI and automation
  • Translation of design led development initiatives into user stories
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent technological knowledge and proficiency, sharing this with others in their team to improve performance.
  • Actively and willingly volunteers to re-organize their schedule to accommodate changes in priority or time and resource allocation across the team.
  • Consistently demonstrates effective time management across challenging and overlapping projects, supporting others in the team with managing their schedule.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information technology, or related field
  • 4-8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or in a related field within healthcare
  • Advanced level knowledge of Agile development process
  • Atlassian Products- (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) as well as strong Microsoft Office 365 knowledge
  • Proactive, forward thinking, detail-oriented, takes initiative, timely and accurate follow up and responsiveness
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel, 10% travel required
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a matrix environment.
  • Must have strong influencing skills and can interface with development, business, analytics, operations, systems and marketing personnel.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a fast paced, remote environment.
  • Scrum certification/training preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
